Connection requests

A connection request is how a conversation starts on Ulfa. There are no anonymous matches — you always know who has reached out.

Sending a request

From any profile, tap Send request. You can include a short opening message — profiles with thoughtful first messages get accepted at noticeably higher rates than blank ones.

Responding

Requests appear in your Requests inbox. You can:

• Accept — opens a conversation with the sender.
• Decline — closes the request without sending a notification to the sender.
• Report — for anything that violates community guidelines.

Expiration

Unanswered requests expire after 7 days. You'll see a reminder a day before the deadline.

Limits

• Free accounts can have a limited number of pending outgoing requests at a time.
• Paid plans raise or remove the limit; see the membership section for details.
