Onboarding step-by-step
The 6-step flow that builds your profile and matching preferences.

Onboarding is a six-step guided flow that gathers the essentials we need to surface meaningful matches. You can pause and resume at any point — your progress is saved as you go.
The six steps
- Basics — display name, birth date, and gender.
- Location — country and city. Both fields support autocomplete; if your city isn't suggested, just type it.
- About you — marital status, occupation, education, and a short bio.
- Photos — at least one clear photo. We'll guide you through what works and what doesn't.
- Faith & values — religious framework, religious level, and the values that matter most to you.
- Intention — what you're looking for (marriage, serious acquaintance, long-term partnership, exploring).
Tips for a strong start
- Write in your own voice. A short, specific bio always beats a long generic one.
- Upload a primary photo where your face is clearly visible — no sunglasses, no group shots.
- Be honest about your religious level and intention. The matching engine respects every option equally; mismatched expectations help no one.
What happens after onboarding
You'll be invited to complete selfie verification. Until then your profile stays hidden so nobody sees a half-built version.
