The values section is more than a survey. It directly shapes who you see and who sees you.
Two kinds of answers
- Preferences — things you'd like in a partner but could discuss.
- Deal breakers — things that are non-negotiable. Profiles that conflict with a deal breaker won't appear in your feed, and yours won't appear in theirs.
Be honest, especially about deal breakers
Marking everything a deal breaker shrinks your pool dramatically. Marking nothing a deal breaker can surface profiles you'd never realistically meet. The sweet spot is usually two or three items that truly matter.
Updating later
Open Profile → Edit → Values to revisit anytime. Updated deal breakers apply to your next session — already-sent requests are not affected.
